Hideez Identity Cloud - SAML integration

SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is a standard for exchanging authentication and authorization data between parties, specifically between an Identity Provider (IDP) and a Service Provider (SP). Hideez Identity Cloud acts as the Identity Provider (IDP), while the third-party service functions as the Service Provider (SP).

To configure federated login through SAML SSO, a user typically needs admin access on both the service provider and identity provider platforms, SAML metadata from both sides, certificates for secure communication, and sometimes a business/enterprise subscription.

Any application that supports SAML 2.0 as a Service Provider (SP) can be integrated with your Hideez Identity Cloud tenancy as the Identity Provider (IDP) using the application's SAML integration guide.
