FIDO Security Key

FIDO (Fast Identity Online) Security Keys are physical devices used to provide secure, passwordless authentication for online accounts. They follow the FIDO Alliance's standards for strong authentication and are widely recognized for enhancing security.

To set up FIDO Security Key as a login method for a web service using Hideez Identity Cloud, follow these steps:

  1. Follow the link in the email and select Passkey.

  1. Choose the security key as the login method for web applications.

Note: If you are using a Bluetooth key, you need to pair it with your PC.

  1. Enter the PIN code of your security key and confirm the action on the key itself

Login to the Web service via FIDO Security Key

  1. Enter the address of the web service or application you wish to access.

  2. You will be redirected to the Hideez Identity Cloud.

  3. Click Sign In with a Passkey.

  1. Authenticate using the Hardware Security Key that you set up during the registration on Hideez Identity Cloud.

  2. Enter the PIN for your key and confirm the action.

6. Authentication is complete.
